Meet Little Bob

This is Little Bob a senior Chihuahua that was set for death at the shelter in Rome GA. A picture and info was sent to me on Monday and I meet Dick on Riverside Parkway on Wed.
He is an old man (dog) with a gray face, hard of hearing and really bad teeth, but he is sweet and loving and just wants a lap to sit in.
He was really stinky when I got him, but after a bath and some antibiotics for his abscess teeth he is smelling and feeling much better.
He is named after my Dad.....Bobby Rogers Drew......most people called him Bob. My Dad died at 59 years old, when I was 27 and my son Jake was only 4.
My Dad loved me unconditionally and he loved our dogs....
So Little Bob represents my Dad in his old age....The old age that he did not get to have....Yes, I know it probably sounds crazy to most people, but my Dad would understand, after all, one of his best friends was a Chihuahua that shared our home for 14 years.
I will be looking for Little Bob a retirement home. A home where he will be loved and respected for his years not tossed aside like a .....well...you know what I mean.

Little Bob is a lucky little guy.........
