Chicks

Some women love jewels and fashion.......me...... well, I like those things too. But, if I have a choice I pick dogs, goats, chicks and a drawing pad, oh yeah house plants, does anyone need any Aloe Vera????...I treated myself to some chicks this week, I have always wanted chickens for eggs....so I went to Wallace Feed and Pet Supplies and got me ten pullets

We will be building a coop soon. I have the plans I want to use.
Of course, if you know anyone that has a coop they are not using, and they would like to get rid of it, let me know.
Anyway, I have been keeping them in a storage container with all the necessities and the brooding light at night to keep them warm. This morning I moved them into the sunshine.
I have quite a set up.......a rabbit cage in a plastic box, with the box lid as a roof, sitting on top of a large dog cage, surrounded by an ex-pen to keep Baily at bay.......I can't help but laugh at myself sometimes.........
