This was her about 4 years ago.
What a beauty.......
She is pushing 8 now and is really enjoying the summer's heat. She is up about three times a day now, sometimes more. Back in the winter we were lucky to get her up twice a day. She is even going out with Chris in the mornings again. We have cut back on her pain pills for now too.
I know when winter comes it will not be this way.........sadly enough I do not think Harley will make it through this winter, but as for now I am so glad we fought to keep her going last year. She is even bossing Maegan around, and trying to play with her Buddy. She tries to go into her crate.....but I tell her No....go back to your couch. Just typing this makes me smile because I remember just a few months ago I was in tears thinking about losing my "Harley Girl"
I just finished my first "Impressionist" Painting, it is of Harley resting on the couch.......http://tammiespageofart.blogspot.com/
In this picture below Harley weighs about 130 pounds, she is right at 100 pounds now. She gets around easier at that weight.
I sing this song to her......in the tune of "Calendar Girl"
Here goes....
I love, I love, I love, my Harlequin girl.
Yes, my Harlequin girl
I love, I love, I love, my Harlequin girl.
Each and everyday of the week!
