I now have kittens in the pack.....
They live in my barn, a nice barn, with concrete floors and lots of beds, toys and a heating pad and lamp for the cool nights.
I am down at the barn about three to four times a day, so they get lots of attention. I had taken in two sister, Jenny and Janie, sadly, Janie died and left Jenny VERY lonely. So, I went on a kitten search and through friends, neighbors and my son, I found Gabriella. She is a little black and white kitten, A little shy, but she is warming up, but most importantly loves Jenny and they made fast friends.
I also have some new pullet chicks......they are called "naked necks" or Turkens.....they are not turkeys, but have the appearance of them....I just love them.
I also have a beautiful rooster.....Well,cockerel he is still young.
His name is "The Duke" and he is doing a great job taking care of his flock.
I now have 5 pullets laying.......Chickens are FUN!
